Mechanism of action

Investigated as a cytoprotective agent acting through the VEGFR2–Akt–eNOS axis, upregulation of growth hormone receptor expression in fibroblasts, and modulation of the nitric oxide and dopaminergic/serotonergic systems. Demonstrates stability in gastric juice in vitro.
